The workshop will run for 2 days and will take place on June 9-10, 2020 in Barcelona.
The workshop aims to bring together research that analyzes several aspects of insurance against individual risk from a macroeconomic perspective. These aspects cover traditional institutions of formal insurance (like the pension system, unemployment and health insurance), and more broadly insurance through the general tax and transfer system, as well as individual self-insurance through savings or labor supply decisions, and also insurance provided within the family.
