The workshop will run for 2 days and will take place on June 16-17, 2020 in Barcelona.
The workshop will cover research broadly related to the determinants of child well-being and human capital development, including health as well as cognitive and non-cognitive skills. Examples may include: the effect of the business cycle on infant and child health, the impact of taxes and benefits on child well-being, cognitive and non-cognitive development, the role of pre-primary and primary school on early human capital development, as well as the influences of other factors such as the pre-natal environment, medical care quality, breastfeeding, etc. We will also address issues related to the medium- and long-term consequences of poor health or different shocks or interventions during childhood.
