Davide Debortoli is associate professor at UPF, research associate at CREI and affiliated professor at the Barcelona GSE. He has held an academic position at the University of California San Diego, and a visiting position at the Norges Bank.

Professor Debortoli was recently awarded a Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship from the European Commission, and he is a member of the editorial board of the B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics.

His research interests include Macroeconomics, Fiscal Policy and Monetary Policy, and his works has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Journal of Economic Theory, the Journal of the European Economic Association, and the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics.
